All foreigners have to dedicate with rules of getting dressed. Therefore, women have to cover their hair with scarves, also they should wear preferably trousers. To cover their bodies should wear Manto which is a kind of Trench Coat. This Trench Coat should be at least up to the knee. Of course by wearing colorful scarves and beautiful Mantos which are in accordance with the rules you can have maybe very beautiful appearance. Men also in Iran have limitation in their coverage if you have to deal with governmental organizations. It is better to avoid wearing shirts with short sleeves and especially short pants.
The best formal coverage for men in Iran is suit and tie and for informal coverage you can wear casual dresses like Jeans and Shirts (but still no shorts in the public).
The Currency of Iran:
The Credit Cards such as VISA Card and Master Card cannot be used in Iran except in small numbers of Hotels and since the payment is an online procedure empowered and secured by Network International so you have to activate your online payment for your credit, Instead we suggest to have enough cash with you. Dollars and Euros are good options. As soon as you arrive in Iran at the currency exchange Office in Airport, Hotels or in the City area , you can easily exchange your money at the current rate.
-Caution: In Iran in addition to the currency of IRR there is another currency named Toman which has not been printed. There does not exist any banknotes and coins. But most of the people use and talk about this currency. Despite of other Countries, in Iran you are not obligated to pay a tip at the Restaurants and not even in Taxies.
Also the approximate price of Taxi from Imam Khomeini International Airport to the City is 65,000 Toman (650,000 Rial) and from Mehrabad Domestic Airport id 35,000 Toman (350,000 Rial).
The impossibility of drinking alcohol:No Alcohol!
Under the Islamic rules in Iran, every one, whether Iranian or Non-Iranian are not allowed to use alcoholic drinks. As well as bringing any alcoholic beverages into Iran is sort of crime and is banned and will be punished.

One of the most famous Iranian foods that can be found in all Iranian restaurants is “Kebab” in different types like: Chelow Kebab (rice with Kebab), Joujeh Kebab (rice with chicken), Dandeh Kebab, Kebab Barg, Kebab Bakhtiari and etc. Also kinds of stew (Khoresh) are one of famous Traditional Iranian foods.
